Metra Electronics® Ships New Dash Kit Designed to Fit 2021 Ford E-Series

Holly Hill, Fla. Metra Electronics® is now shipping a new dash kit designed to upgrade 2021-up* Ford E-Series Cutaway models to fit a larger Double-DIN aftermarket radio. The 95-5860G dash kit uses a trim panel to cover the minor cutting modifications required to fit the larger radio into the factory dash panel. The trim panel is textured, painted gray, and made from the highest quality ABS plastic to match the original factory appearance. The 95-7399B dash kit fits an ISO Double-DIN radio provision and is painted scratch-resistant matte black. Axxess® Ships New Interface Designed to Retain Ford F-150 and Fusion A2B® Amplifiers

Holly Hill, FL – Axxess® by Metra Electronics® has a new interface, the AXA2B-FD1, designed to retain the A2B® amplifier in Ford’s 2018-up* F-150 and 2017-up* Fusion models. This add-on amplifier interface is used when replacing the factory radio with Metra’s 99-5834CH and 99-5841B TurboTouch® dash kits, which are sold separately. This solution retains the Bang & Olufsen® amplifier with an A2B® input in Ford’s F-150 and retains the Sony® amplifier with an A2B® input in Ford Fusion. This Axxess interface also retains the balance audio feature when replacing the factory radio and is Micro “B” USB updatable.

Holly Hill, FL Metra Electronics® is now shipping two new dash kits with their biggest built-in touchscreen yet; a 7-inch color display. These new TurboTouch® dash kits are the first of their kind, with previous kits in this series having a 4.3-inch built-in touchscreen in addition to the opening for the aftermarket radio screen. The 95-6552B dash kit fits 2015 and up* Dodge Charger models and the 95-6553B fits 2015 and up* Chrysler 300 models, giving the interior a high-tech, upgraded look and feel. The kits include the necessary wiring harness, antenna adapter, steering wheel control interface, USB/AUX-IN replacement panel, and data interface for a complete installation.
