The AXTC data interface retains important factory features when replacing the original radio. It includes Axxess’s patented built-in steering wheel control technology, with an auto-detect feature that automatically identifies the vehicle type, radio connection, and preset controls, and also allows dual assignment of steering wheel buttons.

The interface provides NAV outputs, accessory power, and 12-volt illumination, and retains functions such as Retained Accessory Power (R.A.P.) and balance and fade when applicable. Designed to work with all major aftermarket radio brands, the AXTC supports both amplified and non-amplified audio systems.

Settings can be automatically detected or manually programmed and are retained even after battery disconnection or interface removal.
